In its 2015 inaugural funding round the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation has made available $1.9M in grant funding to support research into pancreatic cancer. This funding pool was raised through incredible corporate and community fundraising efforts across the country and has translated into a total of six Grants.
The Foundation formed a Scientific Advisory Panel consisting of national and international experts in the field of pancreatic cancer and this group assessed the grant submissions, which were then recommended to the Board.
We are thrilled to announce that our application for funding was successful and that the APGI is now the proud recipient of an Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation Accelerator Grant.
